60 days until the Buakaw-Pac-Man Fight of Legends

Cambodia's Hun Sen drives out to see Thaksin at home
The two former prime ministers are long-time BFFs and Thaksin-in-exile flew to Phnom Penh to visit Hun Sen frequently.

We all have 60 ticket-scalping days until the 'match of legends'
The bookies already have installed Pac-Man Pacquaio as favourite for just one (allegedly) logical reason: Manny's a boxer; Buakaw isn't. The Surin fighter has more than 240 (cq) fights, mostly Muay Thai, with some kickboxing and bare-knuckle fights in that mix. National hero Manny won 8 different world boxing championships before he retired and became a Philippines senator.
The six-round fight will take place Saturday evening, April 20, at 12,000-seat Impact Muang Thong -- But ThaiTicketMajor doesn't have seating and price details just yet: [https://t.ly/werXG]
THAILAND FOREIGNER ALIEN
Too bad, So sad, Dear All
All aliens residing in Thailand must report their latest address to the Police Immigration Bureau every 90 days.
Just about six weeks ago, the IB announced the opening of an online system for those dreadful and time-consuming reports -- more than 25 klicks northwest of the Fishwrap HQ in Nong Bon, for example. But everyone here and everywhere said that online reporting (wheh!) worked perfectly.
And now every alien has received notice that that reporting site is coming down -- Friday and all through the weekend, at least.
But do not even think of not reporting if your 90 days are up.

Discovery Channel USA Goes Full Conspirary Theory*
September 1983... There are people still alive who remember back that day when the Soviet Air Force out of nowhere shot down and killed everyone aboard the Korean Airlines New York-Anchorage-Seoul Flight 007.
Discovery Channel claims it's a major mystery. Unexplained. 'Unsolved' They even tracked down the "Hero" Russian pilot who did it. He's told the Pravda version of the killings so often that he might even believe it.

The United States also has projects and story lines that are not crazier than a cat in a week's supply of catnip:

USA ANALYSIS (very) OPINIONATED
The president of the United States is running for re-election to perform duties he will no longer be able to perform. The previous president of the United States and leader of the opposition is running for re-election to avenge a defeat he has yet to acknowledge.
The people who served in many of the highest positions in his administration, including the Attorney General, the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Defence, the National Security Adviser, his chief of staff (among many, many others), describe him as unfit to hold high office.
That's the choice. Everything you need to know about the two major political parties in the United States is described by the choice. It is the best they can do.

This U.S. state might ban gasoline cars. Here's who's fighting back.
There is a proposed ban on internal-combustion engine (ICE) vehicles in Connecticut.
It sucked first time around: The '70s called looking for its energy policy. We should give it back.

After his one term was mercifully brought to a close, former president Jimmy Carter has busied himself both as a spokesman for Habitat for Humanity as well as some sort of unofficial-official international election observer.

AC/DC singer Bon Scott was pronounced dead on arrival at a London hospital after a heavy night's drinking. Scott was found in the passenger seat of a friend's parked car. The official coroner's report stated that he had "drunk himself to death", after suffocating on his own vomit.

And for those unfamiliar with the Music of Rock, may we present in this video sartorially splendid Guitar Master Angus Young who worked for his entire career in his Sydney schoolboy's uniform. He spent three years in dementia before dying of the impairment in 2017.
