Pro-Thaksin Pheu Thai Pary denies 'Tuhao' ties
The Thai junta's attempt to link a suspected Thai-Chinese mafia drug trafficker to Thai politics turned nasty. Not to mentijon predictable.
The man at the centre is Chaiyanat "Tuhao" Kornchayanant, who has been arrested on no charges and barred from all outside contacts.
On Sunday the Pheu Thai Party and SC Asset Corporation have denied having any links to the man.
Thaksin, his politically active youngest daughter Paetongtarn (photo below), Pheu Thai and a score of individuals and groups must now try to to prove the negative claims of policeman "Big Joke" Surachate Hakparn and his protectors, including coupmeister and retired 4-star army general Prawit Wongsuwan.

Another volcano erupts in Indonesia

Around 2,000 residents of six villages near Mount Semeru have been ordered to pack up necessities and get out.
'Hot avalanches of lava' [photo below] are pouring out of the volcan's crater.
Semeru ['The Great Mountain' in Bahasa Indonesia] is on the main island of Java, and authorities warned everyone: "Keep at least 5 kilometres away."
Semeru is 640 kilometres east of Jakarta.
Volcanic ash mixed with monsoon rain was falling on nearby villages and 1,969 people, including children and seniors, had been evacuated, the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) said.
The volcano is a historic killer - it killed 50 people exactly one year ago.
First responders and volunteers helped children and the sickly to clear out.

CORONAVIRUS CHINA WHO?

The 'emergencies director' Dr. Michael Ryan of China-owned World Health Organization [WHO?] said he approved the decision by China to back off some of their hasshest human rights violations in the cause of the Chinesr Communist Party's impossible quest of a Zero-Covid outcome.
Ryan, like the CCP, refused to note the Blank Paper Revolution directly but then said:
WHO is pleased to see China "adjusting their current failures" and trying to recalibrate their response to Covid-19.
WHO has previously described China's “zero-Covid” campaign as "not sustainable", which it is.
Ryan then shocked the ruling CCP by noting that China could/should use  imported messenger RNA vaccines, like those made by BioNTech-Pfizer and Moderna.

Iran claims, repeat Iran government claims
it has disbanded and morality police [official name Guidance Patrol] - the murderous twerps who randomly patrol city and village streets seeking women arrest, beat or kill because they're not wearing hijab.
N.B. State media denied this.
Attorney-general Mohammad Jafar Montazeri said, "Huh? I didn't hear that but I was at a religious conference." But he repeated "I am going to look at" the law that requires women to wear the hijab.
And added: "Of course, the judiciary will continue to monitor society’s behavior."
