Big Tuesday morning Hey-Yeah to all readers.
You people, hey, turn off the damn cartoons, go outside and wash the cars like we told yas!
The (deep breath) Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (DES) employs hundreds of snitches in its Anti-Fake News Centre -- so they know.
They know nearly a million fake messages flooded social media last week alone.
Top subjects were nonsense about the Thai-Cambodian border, poor government services, and totally invented disasters.
Then there were made-up anecdotes about "health products".
The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
The sum of human intelligence will decline as birth rate plateaus and declines.-- Elon Musk, world's richest African-American.
ANIMAL CRUELTY
Thai woman teaches Taiwan man (ugh!)
TAICHUNG: So, 27-year-old Promin was deeply in love with a Taiwan citizen (name unrevealed).
On the evening of August 27, he said, "Nah, it's not working" and invited her to leave.
His second error was to walk out of their apartment. In fact, he reported to police that "that Thai bee-atch won't leave my apartment."
While he was doing that, hysterical Promin gathered up all 10 of his pet hamsters.
She took them in the lave, drowned and flushed them one by one. And took videos. And posted them on IG.
Well... she's starting to suffer her two years in prison for animal cruelty, so it wasn't actually funny and she definitely didn't get back her boyfriend, and in about 2027 she will be re-introduced to Thailand, by force if necessary.
This has been a true story.
Auntie proves again that she still just can't do documentaries.
Thailand: The Dark Side of Paradise makes flat-Earth shows look competent.
A Limey claiming that her name is Zara sought to prove that Thailand is the world capital of crime and sex tourism.
She found a Thai woman named Shakira who went to prison for using drugs.
Shakira? Sure, she did. [Sigh].
And now the inerrant state-owned broadcaster has doubled down with a defence for nonsense.

More than 80 drones have been detected over Thai territory near the Cambodian border, with some flying deeper into the country, the Second Army Region said in its daily update on Sunday.
As of 2pm, the army reported six drones making eight appearances inside Thailand beyond immediate border areas, while another 74 drones were observed making 35 passes near the borderline.
Most detections occurred at long range, beyond the zone where signal disruption can be applied, the statement said.
THAILAND WEATHER
Another day, another 'monsoons strengthen' headline.
