Coming soon: The Covid nasal spray
Good morning boys and girls. And all others. Weekend, Day 1 - on Saturday, Jun 18.
For now, there seems no way to halt the SARS Cov-2 novel coronavirus.
Unless...
Thailand to start producing anti-Covid nasal spray by September.
The antibody nasal spray is being developed by the Thai Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO).
GPO's nasal spray was first introduced for trials in February in cooperation with the Chulalongkorn University, Silpakorn University, Health Systems Research Institute and High Bioscience Ltd.
The spray is currently in its last clinical trial phase conducted by the National Cancer Institute.

CORONAVIRUS VACCINE INOCULATION
Deaths by Covid Vaccine hold steady near zero
It will take somewhere between years and decades to pinpoint every case but one thing is very clear: The weirdly exact number of 2,270 deaths-by-vaccination seen over and Over and OVER on the internet is classic malinformation.
There have been six 'suspicious' post-vaccine deaths. Two were the result of VITT, two were due to a severe allergic reaction, one suffered myopericarditis and another suffered Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis.
The Public Health Ministry yesterday released figures refuting claims that more than 2,000 deaths have been attributable to Covid-19 vaccination over the past two years.
It unveiled a report on all vaccines administered and associated unintentional deaths at the weekly Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) meeting.
This showed that by June 12, 138 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines had been administered.
The report further indicated 86 cases of adverse effects of which 45 were attributed to Sinovac, 23 to AstraZeneca, 14 to Pfizer and four to Sinopharm.
Original Number 1 top-selling McDonald's Thailand will close on Canada Day Eve - for about, oh, two years. Or so.
The Amarin Plaza mall where it is located has already started renovations.
It was the first McDonald's restaurant in Thailand, opened in 1985. Now they are all owned and operated by MacThai Ltd.

CORONAVIRUS WORLD
Follow the science
Don Tony Fauci changes up again. His new version: There is 'not nearly enough data' to show whether 5-yerar-olds should get booster shots of Covid vaccine.
Yes, well... Toddlers hardly ever get Rona, let alone transmit the Vid.
But at least the latest tiff with U.S. Senator Rand Paul is a hoot. Fauci testified via the Chinese sexting softwar Zoom, because he has Covid.

Within hours, the failed U.S. US Food and Drug Administration granted emergency authorisation to administer Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccine inoculations to all children, never mind statistics or science.
The agency authorised Moderna's two-dose vaccine for children aged six months to five years, and three doses of Pfizer's shots for those between six months and four years old.
"Many parents, caregivers and clinicians have been waiting for a vaccine for younger children and this action will help protect those down to six months of age," Food and Drug Administration chief Robert Califf said in a statement.
"We expect that the vaccines for younger children will provide protection from the most severe outcomes of COVID-19, such as hospitalisation and death."
Before that can happen, the useless C.D.C. has to give permission.

THAILAND INFLATION FUEL
The dream: Curbing pump prices
The Thai junta's showpiece 'prime minister' Prayut took a page straight out of the Biden playbook on Friday, by going straight to every Thai oil refinery.
Prayut assigned his economic team and 'energy ministry' to convince them to bring down prices of gasoline and diesel for consumers.
Second, the government asks for cooperation among oil refineries in contributing to the Oil Fuel Fund, wherein firms use part of windfall profits gained following approval of their requests to raise the GRM [gross refining margin (GRM) in response to the effects of the Russia-Ukraine war.
Now do Thailand. Same-same, not different.
Oil analyst warns U.S. recession is 'foregone conclusion' as Americans see 'egregious spikes' in energy, food costs.

Thai insurers sink into bankruptcy due to COVID claims

At least four Thai insurance companies have gone bankrupt after suffering losses from selling low-cost Covid-19 policies, raising fears of a domino effect that could weigh on the country's non-life insurance sector.

Laos is struggling with acute fuel shortages, rising food prices and growing debt
Moody's Investor Service on Wednesday downgraded the landlocked, communist-ruled country's sovereign debt rating one notch further into non-investment grade, aka "junk".
Laos was already having trouble paying its bills before the recent surge in global food and energy prices precipitated by Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

THAILAND ASEAN MYANMAR
Weekly Bangkok Post foreign affairs analyst and Chulalongkorn University Professor Thailand's bankrupt Myanmar policy Thitinan Pongsudhirak writes today on...
Thailand's bankrupt Myanmar policy
For one thing, for example
The main reason Myanmar commands its own show is because so much is going wrong with the country. Myanmar is a four-layered conundrum. It is a thorn in the side of the international community.
But Thailand has appointed Pornpimol (Pauline) Kanchanalak as "special envoy". There is no need for a special envoy if no messaging is being done to broker a compromise and chart a forward movement.
