Thai 'government' promises (again) to assist Thais in Ukraine
Evacuation centre set up in city of Lviv
Thailand's junta has established up an evacuation centre Ukraine's western city of Lviv, and all Thais and their familes arre urged to get there. ASAP.
Ukraine has closed its airspace, so there is no way that any aircraft can be dispatched directly to help Thai citizens and their families.
Charter flights are under consideration for Thai citizens who have already fled Ukraine to Poland.
The Foreign Affairs Ministry in Bangkok instructed the Thai embassy in Warsaw, Poland, on Friday to set up an operation centre in Lviv. It will coordinate efforts with Ukrainian authorities to evacuate Thai nationals.
Embassy officials from Kyiv and elsewhere in Europe will also be sent to the centre.

The bill easily cleared the third and final reading with a vote of 359-3, with one abstention.
The legislation will now go to the Senate for approval, which could be in the next parliamentary sitting in May.

A commission will be formed to deal specifically with forced disappearance and torture cases through multi-disciplinary approaches including human rights and psychology. MPs will take part in selecting the commissioners.

Huawei Cloud aids hub hopes
The Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (DES) and global tech powerhouse Huawei Technologies (Thailand) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to deepen their collaboration in enhancing the effectiveness of government cloud services and the country's cloud ecosystem.
The agreement is part of efforts to make Thailand the Asean digital hub.
The three-year MoU was signed yesterday and outlines cooperation in developing government cloud services that are more data-centric, in promoting inter-department data flow and extending public cloud infrastructure.
