Iran 'promises to halt terrorism in Thailand'
Iran has promised to end its 50-year terrorist campaign to track, target and assassinate Israeli diplomats and Jewish tourists in Thailand.
The last known major attempt was the Valentine's Day bomb plot in 2012 which was broken up in central Bangkok with only Iranian casualties.
A report on Tuesday by The Times of Israel said that Thai foreign ministry passed on the Iranian promise during a visit to Thailand by the country's political affairs director, Aliza Bin Noun.
Details of the Islamic Republic's reported promise are pending. In addition to direct Iranian terrorism, Tehran has finance backed anti-Thailand terrorism and subversion by Hizballah, the Lebanese Shi'ite terrorists, as far back as at least 1972, when Lebanese Black September militants seized the Israeli embassy in Bangkok.
Iran backed at least two detailed plots to blow up the Israeli embassy with car bombs before Tehran's 2012 international plan to target and kill Israelis.
In addition to plots targeting diplomats, Thailand has become a favourite vacation destination for Israelis, especially students.
That has put extraordinary prssure upon Special Branch to try to identify Iranian and Iran-supported terrorists before they can put plots into action.
Thail and Israel have friendly relations, and about 40,000 Thais work on Israeli farms and kibbutzes.
An official of Thailand ministry of foreign affairs sais that All Of The Above was inaccurate, but refused to explain.

ISIS group announces [another] death of leader
The Islamic State extremists announced that their Iraqi leader Abu Hasan al-Hashimi al-Qurashi has been killed in battle "recently, in combat with enemies of God".
Another Iraqi was immediately name to replace him: Abu al-Hussein al-Husseini al-Qurashi. The 'Qurashi' name refers to a historic tribe of the Prophet Mohammed, from whom the ISIS leaders claim descent.
ISIS has been largely a failed group, with at least three of its leaders 'martyred' in battle within the past year.

REFUGEES U.N. MONEY
The United Nations Global Humanitarian Overview launched an appeal on Thursday for a whopping US%51.5 billion to help refugees and migrants worldwide - 1 trillion, 800 million baht in real money.
The UN (and "partners") reckon that in the next year, "359 millions" of people will need humanitarian assistance.
That is about 4% of all people on Earth - roughly equivalent to the entire population of the United States.
Martin Griffiths, coordinator of U.N. Emergency Relief:
"Humanitarian needs are shockingly high, as this year's extreme events are spilling into 2023" - meaning the Russia-Ukraine war and severe drought in the Horn of Africa.

Germany has announced it no longer approves of Stalin's murderous Holosomo in the Ukrain and parts of Russia.
The ruling German coalition tabled a plan that would officially disapprove of the 1932-33 horror, and to call it a genocide.
Ukrainians hold a national memorial day for the Holodomor -- considered a genocide by 16 countries - on the fourth Saturday of November, which this year was November 26.
Russia categorically refuses the classification of the Holodomor as a genocide, even though it killed 3 million people or so.
More importantly, The New York Times was a major global defender of Stalin's Holodomor and treasures the Pulitzer Prize it won for lengthy defence of Stalin and famine.
