Lalisa's back in town
Just spitballin' here but it seems like yesterday was Monday and [checking calendar] tomorrow is going to be Wednesday. So it seems logical that today is Tuesday, is that right? 28th day of March of 2022, am I right again?
Myanmar military: We do not negotiate with terrorists!
Good lord!
The most dangerous job in Thailand is...
Golf Caddy.
Ex-husband scams her with a story about obtaining a loan. When she showed up, he splashed her with sulfuric acid.
Interesting quote by social work Paweena Hongsakul, who is taking on the case:
Sorry story:
https://www.dailynews.co.th/articles/894808/
"I want legal penalties for those who conspire to destroy another person's life by splashing acid on them. It's better to kill someone with intention. By splashing the acid, you've already killed someone alive".
'Lalisa's back!'
Blackpink's LaLisa Manoban got home to Buriram for the first time in three years, to celebrate her 25th birthday with her Thai mother and Swiss stepfather.
And the town went crazy.
When she mentioned the meatball vendors in her hometown of Buriram, they saw a 1,000 per cent spike in sales. And one stall gave away free food all day Sunday as a thank you.

Just in case... Here are the Oscar winners.
I actually saw two of these movies, way above my annual average of Oscar flicks, and I thought both were shit.
Seriously... how can you eff up a story about Macbeth? And starring Denzel? Sheesh.
If more than one person gives a darn, you go:

And if anyone disparages your wife, go immediately and slap him like a little girl. Or like Will Smith.
Mind you, there are rumours beyond the undoubted fact that Will Smith loves being a cuck.
From the Rumour Mill and not (yet) confirmed:
By The Puffington Host:
[Will Smith] was rumored to be having an affair with Margot Robbie, and there are other rumors that he's not necessarily fully interested in women.

Thailand Tourism operators whine loudly that they really, really want the junta to allow water-splashing during the Songkran holiday week.
The junta laughs and says "Uh-Uh, No way".
Nothing else to say.
The Thai NGO 'Rural Doctor Society' (RDS)is concerned that clinics and hospitals all across Thailand are running low... welll, running out of the anti-viral favipi8ravir.
Favir, as it's known popularly, is the latest junta-approved drug to treat Covid-19 - particularly the recovery of parients.
The junta, as usual, denies there is any shortage, but no one believes that.
MYANMAR ASEAN
NAY PYI TAW : The new-ish dictator of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing stamped his little foot on Monday and said:
Hell no, we won't 'negotiate' with the opposition who refused to join the military coup of February 1, 2021.
"They're terrorists!"
While he was speaking in the remote Burmese capital city, thousands of citizens hit the streets in Yangon (formerly Rangoon), with signs like, "Uproot the fascist military."
Unseen but important was Aung San Suu Kyi, tucked away in an Insein Prison cell, where the Tatmadaw and its military supporters plan to keep her until she dies. (She is currently 76 years old.)
There was no army or opposition member as useless as the useless ASEAN. The group issued a "five point peace plan" for Myanmar that drew many laughs and no discussion.
As of Monday afternoon, this was the situation in Myanmar:
Tatmadaw leader and effective military dictator Min Aung Hlaing: "I would like to say Tatmadaw will no longer take into account negotiation with the terrorist group and their supporters for killing innocent people ... and will annihilate them into an end."
Opposition (National Unity Government, NUG) spokesman Sasa: "Together with the souls of our lost heroes, we will fight to the bitter end."
Current (sad) situation, compiled by rights group Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP):
More than 1,700 people have been killed and almost 13,000 arrested.

EXACTLY PRECISELY
Exactly 75 per cent of the humans in this photo-montage (below) are certified as human females.
All of the remaining 25 per cent are not.
There will be no test but if you get it right on the first guess, I will see that your CPA rises by one point.

The best informed and brightest newspaper columnist in East Asia tackles the latest Russian war.
And the people who claim to support one of the combatants. And those who pretend to be neutral.
And there is the ridiculous stance of ASEAN.
Kavi Chongkittavorn:
In the case of Indonesia, it is clear that Russia will be invited to attend the G20 on Nov 15-16.
Maybe. They have to punch through Cambodia, first.
The always thoughtful and often fun Atiya "Ann" Achakulwisut approaches the war even more thoughtfully. And she figures:
The APEC forum (in November) won’t save Prayut's election hopes.
Well... yeah.
It's beyond difficult to know what "hopes" the junta's front man could be harbouring.
An election victory seems unlikely.
All eyes are on China.
And it's not because tens of millions of people are locked down so they can be tested and many (perhaps) die of Chinese Covid-19.
Not at all.
It's because all the new lockdowns are in key industrial cities. And for the second year in a row that means "global supply chains" are in deep doo-doo..
Thailand in particular just got the bad news on Monday: If you're hoping for an end to China's two-year border closure: No way.
The Chinese Communist Party doubled down on promises to continue lockdowns - including at the factories and docks at Jilin and Shenzhen.
And tourists? Go home.
All doors to the inbound Chinese tourism market have been closed for 2022, said Sisdivachr Cheewarattanaporn, president of the Association of Thai Travel Agents.
That nice new, 422-kilometre Vientiane-Kunming high-speed railroad? No passengers allowed. And no ticket sales, either.
PHOTO: See all the people at work at the carrier port of Shenzhen on Monday? That's right. There are none.

THAILAND ECONOMY
For the eleventy-twelfth time in two years, Thailand's military rulers announced:
Remember all those growth figures we put out last month?
Uh-uh. We're changing them.
The so-called 'ministry of finance' will revise its 2022 forecast for Thai economic growth next month, focusing on the impact of rising inflation and spiking energy prices.
