State of Massachusetts prepares to ape Thailand
Good morning my cherubs, looks like the dawning of another delightful disease-ridden weekend.
The Royal Thai Embassy in Poland has delivered 2 million baht in medical and other humanitarian supplies. So that will clean up all the damages and wounds and mental wounds of all people in the Ukraine.
57 countries and territories in the world are 'NOT FREE'
One of them, once again, is Thailand.

Joe Biden, current present of the United States of America, has ruled out the use of U.S.A. military forces in Ukraine.
But he sneaks in a "y'all".

The idea that we're going to send in offensive equipment and have planes and tanks and trains going in with American pilots and American crews - just understand, don't kid yourself, no matter what y'all say, that's called World War III.

U.S.A. state of Massachusetts prepares to ape Thailand
BOSTON - The number of reported COVID-19 deaths in Massachusetts will drop by 3,700 on Monday
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health announced it will "adjust" the number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 - a shift that will result in several thousand fewer deaths in the state's official, overall count.
On Monday, when the reclassification takes hold, that total will drop by 3,700 deaths, as 4,081 previously counted deaths are removed, according to a statement from the DPH.

THAILAND CORONAVIRUS
Reducing the deaths - Step One
If you think you have Covid, and you go to a doctor or hospital, this is what will happen.
'Oh, grow a pair! It's probably just dengue!'
The Department of Medical Services (DMS) has warned those who develop flu-like symptoms to check to ensure they have not come down with dengue fever.
It is getting harder to distinguish between the Omicron strain of Covid 19, dengue and the common flu, at least in the early stages, experts say.
Only one in two people exhibit symptoms from Omicron now, with 50% of them developing a sore throat and cough while 30-40% run a fever and 10% experience diarrhoea, said Dr Somsak Akkasilp, director-general of the DMS.

The government wants a lower death toll from Covid.
The government has prepared 24 places for more than 1,700 students who are infected with Chinese Covid-19 but but must begin taking their university exams on Monday.
Chalie Charoenlarpnopparut, manager of the Thai University Central Admission System, said Friday that more special test centres have been added after the number of Covid-19 students registered to take exams hit 1,712.
Of the total, 1,441 have tested positive for the virus and the remaining 271 are close contacts of Chinese Covid-19 patients, he said, with about 700-to-800 asymptomatic or only suffering mild symptoms.
THAILAND TOURISM
A man writing for the Limey newspaper The Guardian is super-optimistic that "the return of the backpackers" has solved Thailand's death-bed tourism disease, at least in Chiang Mai.
He writes:
After months of absence, Chiang Mai's waterfalls, night markets and hostels are once again filling up with a familiar sight: backpackers.
While Thailand was once a haven for budget travellers, Covid-19 devastated the tourism industry, which is only now starting to take tentative steps towards reopening.
People familiar with Chiang Mai at its tourism peak will still find the city relatively quiet, but those in the travel industry are seeing glimmers of hope after two years of despair.

THAILAND CORONAVIRUS DIAGNOSIS TREATMENT
The self-designated 'prime minister' of Thailand emerged on Friday to share his medical knowledge, which is:
Alcoholic drinks do not (repeat) DO NOT cure the Chinese SARS2-Cov novel virus.
It also doesn't prevent Covid and being drunk will not limit the symptoms of Covid.
Prayut claimed there was a lot of that fake news going around claiming that drinking yourself into oblivion isn't nice, but at least it stops Covid-19.

FLASHBACK
Thailand is going to try to turn the Chinese Covid-19 pandemic into a local endemic on Canada Day.
The lead-up is not working out well.
On Friday, Thailand (including tourists) suffered
24,792 new and confirmed Covid cases, a rise from 22,984 on Thursday.
63 deaths from Covid-19, down from 74 on Thursday.
The figures did not include 21,626 positive results from antigen tests over the past 24 hours. That would raise the total number of new cases to 46,418.
Thailand has announced plans to "adjust" the country's death toll downward by at least a third.
As of Friday noon, the Covid-19 deaths totalled 23,575
THAILAND CORONAVIRUS STATISTICS

THAILAND ENERGY INFLATION PRICES
30-baht diesel cap stays until May
Deputy Prime Minister and Energy Minister Supattanapong Punmeechaow said 40-billion-baht Oil Fund and subsidy funds will run out by June.
The Russia-Ukraine conflict has resulted in soaring energy prices, affecting domestic retail prices of oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG).
Global prices of oil and LNG have reached the highest in 14 years at US$180 (5,990 baht in real money) per barrel and US$84.37 per million British thermal units (Btu) respectively, he said.
 Supattanapong said on Friday:
"We have to rely on ourselves. The government will try to cap the prices within the financial limits.
"If everyone helps with energy saving, the cap will last long, and if prices go down, it will last even longer."
[NOTE: The government has nothing to do with this.]

Thailand tops 5G smartphone market
Thailand recorded the largest 5G-enabled smartphone shipments in ASEAN last year, buoyed by broader availability of 5G handsets, pent-up demand and Covid-19 government subsidies, says IT market research company IDC.
"We see 5G-enabled smartphones contributed more than one-third of the total market in Thailand in the last quarter and full year of 2021 thanks to Apple's iPhones and affordable Android phones such as the Samsung Galaxy A52s, vivo Y76 and Redmi Note 10," said Teerit Paowan, client devices market analyst at IDC Thailand.
In Asia-Pacific excluding China and Japan, Thailand was behind only India and South Korea in terms of 5G smartphone shipments, he said.

In order: The Bible, 1984, Treasure Island
In the beginning, God created the heaven and the Earth. And then the murders began.
It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen. And then the murders began.
Squire Trelawney, Dr Livesey, and the rest of these gentlemen having asked me to write down the whole particulars about Treasure Island, from the beginning to the end, keeping nothing back but the bearings of the island, and that only because there is still treasure not yet lifted, I take up my pen in the year of grace 17-, and go back to the time when my father kept the Admiral Benbow Inn, and the brown old seaman, with the sabre cut, first took up his lodging under our roof. And then the murders began.

Joys of Raising Children in the U.S.A. state of Kentucky
Why yes I'd like to pay you to "rap" with my very underaged tween daughter about sexuality and give her "hands on" instruction in masturbation in a highly isolated place in the woods!
 Do these credits transfer?!?!
Question: Are all four of the instructors women? Are any of them pretending to be females?
