Two Thai women tried to smuggle 16 kilos of heroin into Taiwan
Not Genius. They 'hid' the smack in folded Isan fabric (photo). But the Aviation Police Bureau at Taoyuan International Airport, Taipei, found it quickly.
The two dumbass mules were apprehended at the airport, and police arrested a third lady as she tried to register at a New Taipei hotel -- allegedly the controller of the two failures.

The drug trafficking syndicate in Bangkok enticed Thai individuals to travel to Taiwan for free by covering their expenses. Individuals were then instructed to hide heroin in their luggage when entering Taiwan.

Taiwan police estimated the heroin is worth NT$100 million -- US$3.2 million or 111 million baht in real money.

Taiwan’s central bank unveiled two commemorative coins to mark the Year of the Dragon.
The coins depict a lucky dragon playing with pearls, a rose, and a temple in Kaohsuing. They will be sold in sets of two via the Bank of Taiwan at a price of NT$1,900 (about US$61), with face values of NT$100 and NT$10.
NOTE: ONE (1) New Taiwan dollar (NT$1) is worth slightly more than one baht in real money.
