New anti-Thaksin group promises to give political peace a chance
The new pop-up group, Students and the People’s Network for Thailand Reform, demanded yesterday that the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) look at, and rule on the six-month stay in the Police General Hospital.
After being outwitted by Thaksin's daughter's Mercedes Benz van driver, the protesters restarted their protest-without-end at Government House.

If Thaksin were seriously ill, he wouldn't have left immediately after receiving parole on Sunday morning.

Gasoline on the fire
The Senior Prosecutor at the National Office of the Attorney-General (OAG) told reporters that the former prime minister 'looked seriously ill' when he showed up to hear charges in his next go-to-jail case of lese-majeste, ALLEGEDLY committed in South Korea nine (9) years ago.
Preecha Sudsa-nguan, centre in photo, director-general of the OAG's office of criminal cases said, "The former prime minister appeared to be critically ill."
Thaksin rode into the OAG in a wheelchair because he was too weak to walk.
Furthermore, Thaksin had no voice and wore a neck brace, Mr Preecha said.

A tiny cult... maybe 50 members living at a clearing in the deep jungle of Kanchanaburi province (site of bridge over the Kwae River)...
Part of the 'beliefs' of the group is that setting fires to the brush and bush is a Good Thing.
The cult members have barred the district's game wardens from entering their village. Members are quite open that they are responsible for igniting numerous fires.

Thailand's best Sunday columnist reports on the American "scientist" who has told Britain to take their tea with a spoonful of salt.
Because how could English possibly know anything about drinking tea?
This is one large brouhaha in The Little Island of Tea-takers... It's the most-dangerous dispute since Americans refused to invite any Englishmen to the Massachusetts Tea Party of December of 1773.
The U.S. Embassy in England had to force its way into the dangerous spat.
