Last week's survey by the National Institute of Development Administration found rapidly disintegrating confidence by Thai citizens.
A strong majority of citizens polled stated
• They are dissatisfied with the performance of the government of Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin
• They are not at all confident that Srettha and government can solve the nation's problems.
Only a plurality even believe that Srettha can stay in power, given political attacks.
These and other issues showed a remarkable U-turn from the same poll just one week ago.
