Thailand Election Commission takes heat
Holy fishballs, Batman, how did we get through that month so quickly?
We bate our breath.
Will the only March, 2026 in world history enter as lion or lamb?

WARS HAVE CONSEQUENCES
Another day, another Royal Thai Army soldier loses his leg to a Cambodian mine.
The soldier stepped on the Russian-made mine in Surin province near the border. He is the 13th troop to lose a leg since the latest violence began.
In their war since July, Khmer Rouge ordered countless small minefields be placed at or over the Thai frontier.
Cambodia’s Hun & Son promised to aid in cleaning up the mines after both the U.S. and China intervened to arrange an armistice.
Then the Khmer Rouge remnant and his son forgot about it.
THAILAND POLITICS
A new poll by King Prachadhipok’s Institute of Bangkok claims 88 percent of voters now believe the February 8 election was dirty.
The other 12 per cent said, “Nah, I’m good.” There was no other choice allowed.
KPI is funded by parliament with a mission to promote democracy.
The institute’s head is the president (speaker) of parliament, currently super-veteran M.P. Muhamed Wan Noor, one of a tiny few honest Thai politicians.
The poll supposedly found that the 88 percent -- 37 million out of 41 million voters -- is furious that the military-appointed Election Commission members aided a corrupt election rather than attempting to clean up the polls.
Voters believe election not clean, EC fails to fight cheating
King Prachadhipok aka King Rama VII was the last absolute monarch of Siam.
He abdicated four years after the 1932 anti-royalty coup by young Turks, and exiled himself to England where he died in 1941, aged 47.
The military-appointed Election Commission has decided to go all-in on the issue.
On Friday, it ordered the arrest of “a group” -- let’s call them journalists, m-day?
Anyway, “a group” took photos of ballots with bar and QR codes, but it got worse.
Members of that group actually decoded the ballot markers, which might make the EC look bad.

Thais, other visitors to Japan will have to apply for immigration approval
So not a single Bangkok Post “reporter” or editor has heard of TDAC -- Thailand Digital Arrival Card programme which began last year and orders Japanese and 91 other foreign passport holders to register with the Thailand Immigration Bureau before landing in Thailand?

The country is going to amend the constitution to allow a female empress.
They’ve never had one. In East and Southeast Asia, only China has had a ruling empress.
And that was before the communists came and changed it back to boys-only.
There exists a Thai legend of fabulous pre-history Queen Suriyothai -- but that was just a highly successful 2001 moving picture.

As we confront the challenges of multilateralism today, we must think and act collectively
One of the most urgent threats is the rapid expansion of transnational online scams.
What we are witnessing is an industrial-scale scam network that has evolved into a global human rights crisis.
Above: It says Singapore cops. It’s one of several dozen fake ‘police stations’ donated to Cambodia by the Chinese Communist Party, used to intimidate and/or terrify otherwise normal tourists and visitors to casinos. This one was discovered by Thai army troops at O’Smach border crossing.
The fuss about Thailand and Trump’s Board of Peace
By Kavi Chongkittavorn, expert on regional affairs.
Hun Manet (USMA West Point 1999) has been conducting a charm offensive during his week-long trip abroad.
His appearance at the board was solely to advance his father’s Khmer Rouge story of the Thai-Cambodian conflict.
He gave extensive interviews to major international news organisations, repeatedly claiming that Thailand has occupied Cambodian territory.

The Rest Of The Story is an eye-opening brain buster of just what’s happening in the Americas about oil.
Example: Black gold has made a once-impoverished Guyana the richest nation in South America and the Caribbean.
Example: Argentina will soon produce 1.5 million to 2 million barrels per day. Probably higher.
