Thailand's junta has lost control
I hope all you children had a pleasant Tuesday. Now, it is another Hump Day, April 6, so let's do business.
Sunisa Lee's reunion
Our girl from Minneapolis heads into the U.S. collegiate national gymnastic championships this weekend. And id all seems so familiar.
The first Hmong to win an Olympics gold medal leads an Auburn Univerisity team that hasn't make to the nationals in six years.

Thailand's junta has lost control.
In one day... Monday April 4...
New Covid-19 cases: 24,892
Covid-19 deaths: 97, the same as Sunday
The Northeast had 18 fatalities - three each in Chaiyaphum, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani, two each in Roi Et, Kalasin and Sakon Nakhon and one each in Udon Thani, Surin and Buri Ram.

I admit it. Vanity Fair is not the first website I seek each morning in looking for news stories. Same as you, right?
But the magazine is (generally) not fake or made-up and has a lot of people and sources.
So this isn't my story. I didn't write or edit it. I thought it was damned interesting.
If you are unaware of the Chinese Communist Party's tale of the 2019 war games in Wuhan that enabled U.S.A. soldiers to carry the Covid-19 virus worldwide, well, you don't know much of anything about the Covid-19 novel virus and how it spread.
That said... I would just add that I believe strongly that the corrupt and failed F.B.I. should not be allowed to see or analyze this story. Any agent with a few bucks can pick up the mag or pay his ISP for online access, but allowing the F.B.I. to use story, its contents and alll printed names should not be allowed.
This is the teaser. It's a long story, with much detail.

How a quest for scientific renown, grant dollars, and approval from Dr. Anthony Fauci turned an organization dedicated to preventing pandemics into one suspected of helping start one.

A-10s 4Ever
Not bad, eh?
Until now the A-10 was limited to carry only a single weapon on each pylon; by using the BRU-61/A rack, the A-10 will be able to carry four SDBs on each weapon pylon, becoming a 'bomb truck' that can release these stand-off weapons to neutralize threats as far as 50 miles in the target area before starting to provide Close Air Support (CAS) to ground troops.

I'm quite cool about Colorado Laws. I even obeyed quite a lot of them. But this bothers me for the obvious reason:
The Colorado Geographic Naming Advisory Board will be removing the term ‘Squaw’ from geographic locations, deeming the term as derogatory.

TECHNOLOGY
Nvidia's GeForce RTX 3090 Ti is officially officially here for officially $1999. (Tom's Hardware)
But actually a whole lot more than that.
And there are no reviews, because Nvidia didn't send out review samples.

HP's new FX900 Pro SSD is, um, pretty good actually. (Tweaktown)
It's not quite the fastest SSD in existence, but it's cheaper than anything faster and faster than anything cheaper. 7.4GB/s read and 6.7GB/s write, with 43 μs read latency and 14 μs writes.

Elon Musk bought a 9.2% stake in Twitter, making him the largest individual shareholder. (CNN Business)
The share price rose 27% on the news that someone who isn't a braindead doctrinaire liberal might be involved at some level in the company's decision-making process.

Can we speculate on just how "warm" Elon's entrance was?
