Veera is possibly correct. We shall only know, in due time.
That said, Thaksin for months has been 'the Trump of Thailand'. Every newspaper and every TV news broadcast is fixated upon him. The Thai press (at least) cannot live with Thaksin, but for certain cannot live without him.

THAILAND HOLIDAY SONGKRAN
Long story short
Last Month, Pheu Thai Party leader and official Soft Power Guru (see above) and director Paethongarn Shinawatra announced that the annual Songkran (Thai New Year) holiday and water-splashing orgy would last three weeks, starting on April 1. The whole world would notice and provide credit to Thailand for all of its soft power.
This month, it's obvious that no one is taking that instruction seriously and Songkran including water-splashing, as usual, will be April 13-15 and not longer, with government-designated splashing spots.

THE DAILY BOEING-UNITED HORROR
Pilots of Flight UA59 got the 777 out of Frankfurt, bound for San Fran but then
a toilet burst, spreading stink and then actual floating faeces in the passenger cabin.
Pilots flew circles over the North Sea and inept ground maintenance searched uselessly for a solution but couldn't find one, so the flight returned to Frankfurt.
