Streaming the film is a direct violation of the Thai copyright law, said Jittima Srithaporn, the director-general of Thailand's Department of Intellectual Property aka DIP.
Civil and criminal charges will apply.
'13 Lives' is the third major movie about the rescue.

Thailand's junta-controlled Department of Disease Conrol confirmed the country's seventh (7th) case of monkeypox.
The victim is 37-year-old Bangkok resident, who lives alone - but told health investigators that there was that one time that she visited "an entertainment venue populat among foreign tourists".
After that, nothing happened for three weeks and then the blisters broke out suddenly - on her hands, arms, face and private parts.
The victim and three close relatives are in an isolated hospital ward.
