True or False: Thailand's tourism 'near to pre-Covid level'
Hello again fellow inmates. It's another Tuesday. Are they coming more often, or is that my fantasy?
We need an interpreter. Or a far better teleprompter writer. What is this man actually saying?
There never has been an attack on Taiwan/Formosa. There is no precedent for an attack.
Any attack which might occur, from this morning onward, is unprecedented. Any/All attacks [which might occur] are unprecedented. There is no precedent for an attack on Taiwan.
This was a policy of Maoism/Chinese Communist Party. Mao was heavily criticised in the 1950s and into the 1960s for his 'failure' to attack and to seize Taiwan and its offshore islands (Quemoy/Kinmen, Matsu, etc. etc.)
Portugal "discovered" the island and named it 'Formosa' (means 'Beautiful') in 1544. Spain, Japan, etc. etc. claimed they owned the island. The Netherlands were around for some time until Taiwanese men tossed them away. Japan occupied it, but there was no attack.
You should also consider the possibility that Biden is working hard in order to NOT say something.

TAIPEI: Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Joanne Ou (歐江安) thanked the U.S. for its "rock-solid" promise to Taiwan, saying Taiwan will continue to reinforce its self-defense ability and deepen the Taiwan-U.S. security partnership to fight the expansion of authoritarianism.
and OF COURSE
https://www.taiwannews.com.tw/en/news/4662396
U.S. President Joe Biden once again on Sunday confirmed during an interview that the U.S. will come to Taiwan’s aid by sending its forces to defend the country against a Chinese invasion
During CBS News' 60 Minutes program, when host Scott Pelley asked Biden if U.S. forces would defend the country, Biden replied, "Yes, if in fact there was an unprecedented attack."
There was a pause, then Pelley clarified:
"So unlike Ukraine, to be clear, sir, U.S. forces, U.S. men and women, would defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion."
Biden replied, “Yes.”

And the Department of Obfuscation rushed in.

The man who brought marijuana legalisation to Thailand,
the current Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul
is angry that increasing numbers of citizens and groups want to go backwards, and re-list cannabis as a narcotic plant.
The wealthy businessman and hard-core junta loyalist said on Monday,
Listen up!
There is no evidence of improper use of cannabis under existing laws as claimed by the policy's critics.
And he added:
"Re-listing cannabis [as a narcotic] is ridiculous, and we won’t do it because we have come so far.
"We haven't seen any negative impact that is beyond our control."

Playing It Close To The Chess
So the story, up to now...
We think this professional chess player was sitting on his anal beads.
We actually think that.
And we think that his anal beads were occasionally vibrating from an off-stage mate with a Bluetooth vibrator controller and we think the time and intensity of the anal-bead vibes were a signal, telling the anal-bead, um, wearer what his next move ought to be.
We know that the opponent of "our" professional chess player resigned and quit and got up and walked away. In mid-match.
We know but we cannot say who provided the initial intelligence about anal beads and remote vibrators. We know that Elon tweeted a "joke" that from now on, professional chess players would have to bend over for a cavity inspection before being allowed to play the match.
We know that the professional chess player who was left at the table after all of the above denied or pretended to deny that he was sitting on remote-controlled anal beads.
We know that the group FIDE is the equivalent of a North Korean dictator for all of professional chess, worldwide.
We know that a FIDE states that no professional chess player is allowed to criticise any other professional chess player, especially the current or most recent opponent.
We know that the U.S.A. grandmaster Hans Niemann was thrashing the world's best player Magnus Carlsen of Norway in a match streamed on Twitch and we know Carlsen walked out of the tournament but tweeted, "I hope to be back."
We know that several people asked Carlsen if he thought Niemann had placed Bluetooth-controlled anal beads in a place where the sun never shines.
We know that careful Carlsen endorsed a video which stated: "I prefer really not to speak. If I speak, I am in big trouble." In other words, "Yes."
We know that Alurring Arabelle got it right:
World in furor after one player resigns mid-match, with implication that he was withdrawing because his opponent was cheating
He didn't actually accuse his opponent of cheating, which would be against the rules. Instead, he later tweeted, quoting a soccer coach, "If I speak, I'm in big trouble." This is taken as confirming that he wants to allege cheating but is forbidden by chess organization rules.
