Thailand's Department of Disease Control has stopped reporting Covid-19 infections using rapid antigen test kits and will report only cases that require hospitalisation.
That's one way to put it.
Thailand's junta-designated 'prime minister' Prayut ordered all Thais to keep their masks on.
For now at least.
And foreigners, tourists and such... they need to mask up right now or suffer some consequences like large fines of 20,000 baht for a first offence.
Prayut's personally dispatched spokesman said,

The fall of the Palang Pracharath Party (PPRP)
City elections in Bangkok and Pattaya are bad news for the political party that was formed specifically and uniquely to support the ruling Thailand junta and 'prime minister' Prayut.
Political sentiment has changed from three years ago and city voters see no reason why they should root for the PPRP again.
Political observers are convinced the PPRP is no longer in pole position and the party can go from being a major party to a medium-sized one - overnight.
Stithorn Thananithichote, a political analyst at King Prajadhipok's Institute, said despite the election loss, it is not yet the end of the road for the ruling PPRP, which did not field a candidate to vie for the governorship.
PPRP is also dogged by internal rifts and conflicts.

There's going to be a debate now over whether U.S. President Biden deserves accusations of Stolen Honour.
Biden repeats false claim about trips to Iraq and Afghanistan, this time to graduating midshipmen at the U.S. Naval Academy.
For reasons only Biden knows, Biden told graduating U.S. midshipmen he made 40 trips to Iraw and Afghanistan.
A spokesperson for Biden's National Security Council (NSC) said nah, it's 21. It wasn't the first "exaggeration" by Biden on exactly the same claim.
As a presidential candidate, Biden also told at least one "moving but false" war story, according to the Washington Post. It jumbled several events loosely together to create a narrative that "never happened."
