MONKEYPOX MEDICINE EXPERTS
Everything is going swimmingly
That's the official order. But for a couple of moments forget about how well the anti-Covid vaccines do (not) work.
How about monkeypox, which is not endemic or even a serious problem in Thailand. So far.
How Well Does the Monkeypox Vax Work? No One Knows for Sure.
"Medical experts" and self-described "scientists" are hanging hopes on Jynneos, but that 'vaccine' is not yet even proven to protect against infection, let alone cure.
So... about the same as anti-Covid vaccines then, right?

Wild Boar team captain wins full-boat scholarship
Duangphet Phromthep, "Dom" to family and friends and now 17, was the captain of the team dragged out of the Chiang Rai cave, four years ago.
Dom was the first boy who called out to the rescuers after he and teammates had been trapped in the Tham Luang cave for 18 days.
The 'Zico Foundation' of Thailand is sending Dom off for four years at the Brooke House College Football Academy at Leicestershire (which is not pronounced Lie-cess-ter-shire). English people also call soccer "football" and eat bubble and squeak and drive on the wrong side, so lots of adventure ahead for Dom.
PHOTO: The publicity may help Ron Howard's new movie. Also, entrepreneurs have built a totally fake-totally safe replica of Tham Luang for tourists to pretend.

Things got serious in Bangkok on Tuesday.
So serious that police got busy for a showdown with anti-junta, anti-Prayut, royal family doubters.
This map went up ... everywhere - on TV, in newspapers, on flyers slapped up in subway and Skytrain stations.
It warns drivers and ordinary perambulistas to avoid... no, to stay the HELL away from Government House (where Prayut is usually found) and Bangkok City Hall, where activists are today on Day 3...2...1 - of their Countdown to demand that Prayut step down.
• Bangkok City Hall

• Democracy Monument (Bangkok)

The map states that events are likely to be particularly dangerous today, from 3 p.m. onwards.
Preparations began yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon and went on through the night.
cargo containers,
razor wire and
steel barricades.
They aim to block traffic at two main downtown Bangkok bridges - Chamaimaruchet and Makkhawan Rangsan.
Police believe that will prevent the anti-Prayut protesters from getting close to Government House.

SIMPLE SIGN by protesters yesterday afternoon:
Prayut Okk Bay!!
Prayut Get Out!!
Commentary, by the public-financed Thai PBS
Whatever the Constitutional Court's ruling, "General Prayut" will not go away easily
Under the law on state affairs management, in the event that the prime minister becomes incapacitated for whatever the reason, the deputy prime minister will take over as provisional prime minister. But the law states that if there are more than one deputy prime minister (there are now six of them), the Cabinet has to decide who among them will be appointed.
... Let's not forget the old saying "Politics is the art of the possible". And we know too well that Thai politicians have more than perfected it.

Thailand's token 'prime minister' Prayut attended the weekly cabinet meeting on Tuesday - while judges of the Constitutional Court stressed out on whether to consider firing Prayut on Wednesday. [checks notes... ] today.
Speaking yesterday, Prayut's deputy/slash lawyer,
Wissanu Krea-ngam said the court will meet today and it remains to be seen whether it will accept the petition [to force Prayut to step down].
Wissanu, The Optimist:
It is unlikely that the court will make the decision today because it requires a few more days to consider the matter.
BUT
If Prayut is suspended today, deputy prime minister and former Prayut bff Prawit Wongsuwon will serve as acting prime minister while Prayut can still carry on as defence minister, a portfolio he holds concurrently.
While Prayut and partisans prattled, activists of the opposing of the 'Ratsadon group' and supporters sat and watched from Bangkok"s Democracy Monument.
In the red dress and glasses, left front, the Thai junta's most-hated female, worse than [spit!] Yingluck - Panusaya (aka Rung, Rainbow) Sithijirawattanakul.
After two years as an exchange student in America, she returned and immediately called for "reform of the monarchy". In Thailand, that is an offence worth 25 years in a nasty woman's prison. Probably more.

An onlind poll by the 'People's Voice' website counted "more than 90 percent" of voters opposed Prayut's efforts to remain in office.

Gaia is entirely pissed off at you. Yes, you!
David Attenborough ... go home, Dave, you're drunk.
This is an actual claim that there was a pandemic because the Earth Mother was angry.
