However, the event was a pre-advertised and staged event, nonetheless - and not a spontaneous gathering of thousands. Heavily sponsored by several individuals and corporations (not to be named here) - who provided and distributed the myriad Thai flags, the free food and water, and sound equipment, etc. These support individuals were paid by sponsors - no confirmation as to amount.
